Join the Crystal Coast Brewing Team

Are you looking for an opportunity to join one of North Carolina's fastest growing breweries? If so, we have an open position for you as a Driver / Sales and Brewing  Assistant on the beautiful Crystal Coast!

Our Morehead City brewery is currently looking for a candidate that can support our sales team and brewing team and expanding footprint in various ways. The position will be at the direction of ownership and sales/brewing management.  A clean driving record is a mandatory requirement, with no exceptions, as you will be operating a company vehicle.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Product Delivery

• Access the Sales / Delivery system and prepare a list of products (kegs and cases) to be delivered to customer with an efficient driving route.
• Print Customer Invoices for product to be delivered.
• Load the company delivery van with required products.
• Enter keg numbers into the Sales / Delivery system for products being delivered.
• Deliver product to customer and obtain signed copy of invoice and payment if required. Some deliveries may require early morning time frame (8am).
• Retrieve empty kegs from customer as indicated on the customer invoice.
• Return empty kegs to the Brewery and enter keg numbers into the system.

Sales Assistance

• Weekly and bi-weekly checkups on local grocery stores and chain stores to ensure product is properly arranged and turned on shelves, and maintaining par levels of product stock.
• At the direction of the Director of Sales, visiting key accounts to take orders, provide info on new and available beers, and be a friendly face to connect with for our amazing customers.

Brewing Assistance

• Assisting on brew days (handling/milling grain, recording data, maintaining the brewing process).
• Rearranging hoses for pump transfers between HLT, MT and BK
• Prepping for Knock Out
• CIP Brewhouse, HXC, and KO lines post-brewing
• Cleaning of all brewery surfaces and equipment

Organization and Cleaning

• Maintaining a constantly clean and organized cold storage space, ensuring a FIFO (first-in, first-out) process, as well as proper stacking and placement.
• Proper placement and drop-off of empty kegs in our brewhouse.
• Occasional brewhouse assistance and cleaning of kegs and areas may be needed.

General

• Ability to lift 55lbs repeatedly
• Ability to stoop, bend, crouch, squat, dodge, dip, dive, duck and slide with style
• Ability to work on your feet for prolonged amounts of time
• Ability to work in louder and sometimes hot/cold environment
• Must be a strong communicator and a team player
• Possess basic computer skills
• Have an understanding of safe work practices, the use of PPE, and following our SOP
• Maintain a flexible schedule including occasional early mornings evenings as needed
• Self-motivated and self-directed
• Ability to run basic operations when Director of Sales is unavailable
• Ad hoc tasks as necessary

Pay: $17.00 per hour
